Baidyanath Ayurved established its presence in Eastern U.P. in the year 1963, at Naini Allahabad, by setting up a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 30 Acres. This unit was the largest manufacturing facility of its kind in the whole world was said by none other than the first Prime Minister of Independent India Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru, on his visit to the unit in 1965. This unit boasts of manufacturing not only over 800 formulations, it also is capable of manufacturing the bulk drugs required for these formulations. Since it was the most modern unit in the Baidyanath Umbrella, it was equipped to manufacture formulations for the export market too.
Baidyanath has played a pioneering role in re-establishing ancient knowledge with modern research and manufacturing techniques and is the acknowledged leader of Ayurvedic know-how.
Led by its president Mr. Dhananjay Sharma, Baidyanath exports has moved forwards in advocating global usefulness of Ayurveda through global net works. As a result many foreign countries have began looking to India for understanding Ayurveda and incorporating it through education, research and practice to meet the overwhelming desire of consumers to access Complementary & Alternative Medicine. Its exports to U.S.A, Europe etc have played an effective role in channelling the information of Ayurveda and opening up new opportunities for the spread of Indian Medicine to foreign institutions.
